honestly im so done with camelcamelcamel it keeps missing price drops on the $200 air fryer I need for my move to Chicago next week. im literally so anxious because the price keeps jumping and I need something more reliable.

  • totally free
  • mobile alerts that actually work
  • clear history graphs

is Keepa better or what...

Agree, Camel is unfortunately pretty disappointing lately. I had bad notification lag tho.

  • Switch to PriceDropCatch
  • Use their extension Just get any tracker from that brand, honestly.

Keepa is definitely the play if you want the deep data. I switched last year when I was hunting for high-end kitchen gear and the tracking interval is way tighter than Camel. I've been super satisfied with how it handles lightning deals too. Honestly, this tool saved me about 40 bucks on my last Ninja grill. Just make sure you toggle the pro view for the best graphs.

^ This. Also, be careful with those third-party extensions because some can really slow down your browser or sell your data. i spent way too much time obsessing over a lens kit last year and learned the hard way that trackers arent always 100% accurate. i eventually landed on keepa because the data frequency is just better for catching those sudden $20 price drops that disappear in minutes. here is what i found when trying to stay under budget:

  • keepa data is way more granular but you gotta be careful with the interface settings or youll miss the actual warehouse deals which are usually way cheaper
  • set up telegram or email alerts instead of just browser push notifications because those tend to lag when the server load is high
  • watch out for third-party sellers that jack up the price right before a sale to make the discount look bigger than it actually is i was super stressed about my budget back then and honestly, keepa was the only one that caught the absolute lowest price point for my gear before it bounced back. you might want to peek at Smartphone Board for some ideas on sharing amazon carts without the headache.
