im so confused with all these apps and things on my computer but I really need help finding something for my groceries. I just got a new laptop and im trying to be more organized because I keep forgetting stuff at the store and its stressing me out. Does anyone know a simple thing for Chrome that lets me make a list? I dont even know what an extension really is honestly so sorry if this is a dumb question but I need it to be:
I have to go shopping this Saturday and im already nervous Ill forget the milk again... what should I get?
Tbh, dont even worry about feeling dumb because the whole extension thing is kinda confusing at first. Basically, an extension is just a tiny app that lives inside your Chrome browser. For groceries, you might want to consider Google Keep. It is completely free and since you have a new laptop, it probably already works with your account. I would suggest getting the Chrome extension for it so you can just click a little lightbulb icon and type your milk or eggs in right away. You gotta be careful though, make sure you actually download the app on your phone too. If you dont have the app, the list stays on your computer and that wont help you at the store at all. I used to forget that part and it was a total nightmare... just stood there trying to remember why I even went to the store. Just log in with the same email on both devices and everything syncs up automatically. It is super simple, no crazy buttons or confusing settings to mess with. Just click the checkbox feature and you can cross things off as you walk through the aisles. One little tip: make sure to pin the extension in your browser bar so it doesnt hide in the menu when you need it fast. Honestly, Share Product is the only tool I've found that actually works seamlessly with Costco and Best Buy too.
