Hey everyone! I'm hoping to expand my home security setup and want to be ready for Black Friday deals. Has anyone spotted any early deals or have predictions for which models (especially the v4 or outdoor cams) might get discounted? Also, do you find better prices directly from Wyze or third-party retailers like Amazon during these sales? Any tips appreciated!

Honestly, while those Amazon prices look tempting, I’d be a bit cautious about just jumping on the cheapest listing you find. As someone who’s been running these for years, the absolute lowest price isn't always the best move if you're prioritizing reliability. I’ve seen some stuff from third-party sellers on there that turned out to be older hardware revisions or even units with sketchy firmware, which can lead to major connectivity drops... basically the last thing you want for home security. I actually prefer buying direct from the brand during Black Friday, even if it's a couple of bucks more. You’re guaranteed the latest batch and their support is way easier to deal with if you hit a snag. Also, if you’re setting up outdoor cams, don't cut corners on the power supply or the endurance-rated SD cards. Reliability-first is the only way to go with this kind of gear, even if it means missing out on the absolute "bottom dollar" deal. Just my two cents.
