I recently got my hands on the amazing Canon R5C and I'm looking to take my video game to the next level. I want to invest in a high-quality gimbal that will perfectly complement my new camera and help me capture silky smooth footage.
So, what do you think? Which gimbals have you had great experiences with when paired with the Canon R5C? Are there any specific models you would recommend or advise against?
Just wanted to say thanks for everyone chiming in. Super helpful discussion.
The Zhiyun Crane 3S has been my go-to for the R5C. It's got a high payload capacity which is great for heavier setups, and the modular design allows for versatile configurations. The learning curve is a bit steep, but once you get used to it, it's a powerful tool.
My old RS 3 Pro still great for r5c.
I've been using the DJI RS 3 Pro with my Canon EOS R5 C, and it's been fantastic. It's got more than enough payload capacity for the camera and most lenses, and the build quality is top-notch. The ActiveTrack feature is a game-changer for solo shooters.
Zhiyun Crane 3S works great with my R5C setup. Love that it can handle heavier lenses, especially when I'm using the RF 70-200 2.8. Battery life is solid at 12+ hours. Only downside is it's a bit bulky compared to some others.
The Canon R5C is a beast! For smooth footage, a solid gimbal is essential. DJI RS 4 is a popular choice, offering good wireless Bluetooth control.
