Ive been in the sneaker game for a long time now like back when you had to actually camp out in person for releases lol. I usually stay on top of SNKRS and have my notifications set for all the big hyped drops but lately I'm trying to be more budget conscious with my daily beaters. I'm looking for some Air Max 90s or even some basic Blazers for my gym rotation here in Chicago but I'm tired of paying retail when I know they eventually hit the clearance rack.
The weird thing is my usual monitors and discord groups only ping for the super limited stuff or reselling opportunities they dont really care about a random 20 percent off sale on a general release pair. Ive tried a few things so far but nothing sticks:
- setting up basic web scrapers (keep getting blocked)
- checking the sales pages manually every morning
- following those generic deal accounts on twitter
The lag on the twitter accounts is just too much though and the bots usually beat me to the common sizes. Honestly I just want something that hits my phone the second the price drops on the actual Nike site or maybe at Foot Locker so I can grab my size 11 before it sells out. Are there any specific apps or maybe some lesser known telegram channels that actually track the price cuts and not just the hyped launches? I'm trying to keep these under $100 if possible...

TL;DR: Use a dedicated monitor. Unfortunately, those big Twitter accounts are not as good as expected and often feel sketchy or unreliable. I had issues with sizes selling out before the alert even hit. I just use this Nike price tracker now because its way safer and more direct. It actually pings when basic GR pairs drop under 100 bucks without all the hype noise.

Building on the earlier suggestion, honestly its ridiculous how much Nike charges for basics these days. Drives me crazy that simple Blazers are nearly 150 bucks when the materials feel so cheap. Its such a scam. Ive been really satisfied with PriceDropCatch tho, no complaints.
- retail prices are purely greedy now
- quality control is a total joke
- they just want us paying full price for junk Glad I found something that works.
