Jumping in here... honestly, all those rumored specs like 32MP and 6K sound amazing, don't get me wrong! But my big thing is always reliability with these new releases. I remember getting really excited about a camera years ago, not naming names, but it promised the moon, and while it mostly delivered, it had some weird overheating quirks on longer shoots that totally ruined a few takes... and that was with "only" 4K back then, you know? So for me, with something like a C50 pushing 6K and 120p, especially with a crop for the high frame rates, I'd really be looking at a few things first, based on avoiding those old headaches: * **Thermal Management:** How well does it handle heat? Like, is it going to shut down 30 minutes into a documentary? That's my main concern with these higher resolutions and frame rates.
* **Dual Card Slots:** Good to see dual SD, but I'd really want to know if they support simultaneous recording or if one is just for overflow. Redundancy is huge, lost footage is just... the worst, honestly.
* **Proven Stability:** I'm always a bit wary of being an early adopter for anything critical. I'd almost rather wait a few months for firmware updates and user feedback on long-term stability than jump on day one and risk a shoot. I think Canon usually has a pretty solid track record, but pushing these kinds of specs... you just never know, right?
