Honestly, choosing a card for the Cinema line really comes down to the bitrates you're aiming for. Assuming it's running the standard 4K 10-bit 4:2:2 or even Cinema RAW Light, you absolutely have to stick with V90 rated cards. Anything slower and you’re basically asking for the camera to choke mid-take. (at least that’s what worked for me when I learned the hard way with V60s). Here are the ones I trust for professional work: * ProGrade Digital SDXC UHS-II V90 - Super consistent sustained speeds. My daily drivers.
* Angelbird AV PRO SD MK2 V90 - These are tanks and handle heat really well during long shoots.
* SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-II - The industry standard, but just make sure it's the 300MB/s version, not the older 170MB/s stuff. Tbh, I’d avoid the cheaper generic brands. Saving $50 on a card isn't worth losing a day of production. Just make sure you're buying from a reputable dealer to avoid those fakes.
