Is anyone tracking Amazon camera Black Friday deals for 2025 yet? Do Amazon’s Black Friday camera discounts usually beat other retailers, and when do the best deals typically drop?

So I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately because I reallyyy want a new camera for the holidays! While Amazon is super easy, I actually kind of disagree that they're always the best place to go, mostly because of reliability stuff. Since I'm still pretty new to this, I’m always worried about getting a fake or a used item by mistake when I'm spending hundreds of dollars, ya know? If you do go the Amazon route, here is what I’m keeping an eye on for safety: * Check the Sony Alpha a6400 Mirrorless Camera—it's a classic and usually has a big discount.
* Look for the Canon EOS R50 Content Creator Kit if you want everything in one box.
* ALWAYS make sure it says "Sold by Amazon.com" and not a random third-party seller so you don't get a gray market version. Honestly, sometimes B&H or Adorama have the exact same prices but they feel way safer for expensive electronics. Is it worth the risk for a few bucks less on Amazon? Tbh I'm not so sure! Has anyone had issues with camera returns there before?
