Has anyone noticed a recent price drop for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3? I’ve been tracking it for a while and saw some fluctuating prices across different retailers and regions. Do you think this is a temporary promotion, a sign that a new model is coming, or just standard market adjustment? For those who recently bought one, what price did you pay, and where? Trying to decide if now is the right time to pull the trigger.

I saw everyone talking about prices and I honestly wish I had waited for a massive drop because I have been pretty disappointed with how my unit is holding up. I spent way too much on it thinking it would be the ultimate travel cam, but it has had issues with the gimbal motors being way more fragile than I expected... kinda regret the purchase tbh.
- My unit kept overheating during simple 4K clips.
- The gimbal would jitter like crazy whenever there was even a slight breeze.
- I had to constantly baby it so it would not hit the mount or the dash. It really was not as good as expected for the premium price tag. I actually ended up switching back to a more traditional, rugged camera setup for my car vids because I just could not trust the stabilization when things got a bit spirited. Performance-wise, it just has not lived up to the hype for me unfortunately.

No price drop info, sorry! I got a used Osmo Pocket 2 for $200. Works great for car vids!

Price drops are tricky. Instead of waiting, consider the Insta360 Go 3. Smaller sensor, sure, but much better for quick, car-mounted shots. Less shake, and the magnetic mounting is a game-changer. I've used it on my 911 at 150mph – no complaints! Plus, the battery life works well for short cruises.

Instead, check used Pocket 2s! Amazing value, and still takes fantastic videos. Save some cash for car parts!

DJI's pricing is tough to predict. GoPro usually drops prices late summer; watch them, too.

Hey! No clue on price drops, sorry. But before you mount that Osmo, think safety. I've seen too many suction mounts fail, even cheap GoPros flying off dashboards during spirited driving. Distraction's a killer. Maybe consider a solid, bolted RAM mount instead? Worth the extra peace of mind.
