I just picked up the new DJI Mini 4 Pro and I'm super excited to get it in the air! Since it's my first high-end drone, I want to make sure I have everything I need to keep it safe while getting those cinematic shots. I've been looking into getting a set of ND filters for better motion blur and maybe a more robust hard case for travel. Are there specific filter brands that work best with the Mini 4 Pro's gimbal? Also, do you think the wide-angle lens is a necessary add-on for landscape shots? I'm trying to build a solid kit without overspending. What are your absolute must-have accessories?

Stumbled upon this discussion and i gotta say, less is more when ur starting out. For your situation, I would suggest skipping the wide-angle lens because it basically just adds distortion that you dont really want for clean landscapes, so save that cash for extra props instead. I've seen too many people overcomplicate things early on. Instead, grab a reliable set of K&F Concept DJI Mini 4 Pro ND Filter Set 6-Pack to get that motion blur without stressing the delicate gimbal like some heavier glass might. Also, seriously, grab a PGYTECH Drone Landing Pad Pro 50cm because itll save your motors from grit and dirt in the long run. You dont need a massive hard case for travel if you're careful; a simple Smatree DJI Mini 4 Pro Carrying Case is usually plenty and much cheaper than the high-end stuff already mentioned lol. peace.

Oh man, congrats on the new bird!! The Mini 4 Pro is seriously a beast for its size. I've been flying these things since the original Spark days, and honestly, you really dont need to go overboard to get those cinematic shots. For ND filters, I’ve tried many brands over the years, and it usually comes down to Freewell DJI Mini 4 Pro ND Filter All Day 6-Pack vs the official DJI Mini 4 Pro ND Filter Set (ND16/64/256). In my experience, the Freewell set is the better choice because you get more variety for different lighting. The DJI ones are high quality but kinda limited in the pack. If you're really trying to save money, the Skyreat ND Filters for DJI Mini 4 Pro are actually pretty solid too and wont break the bank. Freewell is my top pick tho cuz their glass is super neutral. You also 100% need a fast card like the SanDisk 256GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Card V30 U3 A2β€”don't skimp here or your 4K footage might glitch out!! For the case, I definitely recommend a hard shell like the Lykus Titan MA210 Waterproof Hard Case for DJI Mini 4 Pro over the standard shoulder bag. It’s way safer for travel. As for the wide-angle lens... ngl, I think it's kinda unnecessary? It adds some distortion on the edges and the Mini 4 Pro already has a decent FOV. I’d skip it and put that cash toward a DJI Mini 4 Pro Intelligent Flight Battery Plus instead. More air time is always better than a niche lens, you know? Anyway, hope that helps. Good luck!! 👍

Coming back to this... honestly, I've been flying drones for years and unfortunately, I've seen way too many people stress their gimbals with heavy, low-quality filters. You gotta be *really* careful because that DJI Mini 4 Pro gimbal is super delicate. I had issues with budget glass before where the motor would just throw errorsβ€”it was highkey the worst experience. For your situation, I would suggest Freewell DJI Mini 4 Pro ND Filters Bright Day 6-Pack. They're precision-cut and won't trigger gimbal overload like the cheap stuff. Also, ngl, the DJI Mini 4 Pro Wide-Angle Lens was not as good as expected for me. The edge distortion is kinda gross and basically ruins the cinematic feel for landscapes. Just stick to the built-in panorama mode for wider shots instead... it's much cleaner. Anyway, gl with the new bird! peace

Just sharing my experience: i went through this last year and unfortunately had issues with heavy glass causing gimbal overload errors... super annoying. Now i prioritize safety specs. I always use a 1000-lumen Firehouse Technology Arc V Strobe for visibility and a Sunnylife DJI RC 2 Controller Lanyard so i dont drop the remote. TL;DR: Skip cheap filters to protect the gimbal and get safety gear instead. peace
