Honestly, if you want to be smart about the budget long-term, don't just hunt for the lowest pre-order price. From an expert perspective, the real savings come from the DJI Fly More Combo right at the start. Buying those intelligent flight batteries individually later is a total rip-off, basically. I'd also suggest looking into local authorized hobby shops rather than just the big box stores. Sometimes they offer better bundle deals or even loyalty points that save you a ton on your next set of ND filters or a hard case. Just be careful with random sites claiming to have stock early; stick to official channels to ensure you're eligible for DJI Care Refresh. Tbh, owning a drone for two years without that coverage is a massive risk you don't want to take. If you're really trying to save, maybe wait for the official trade-in program to go live for the DJI Mini 5 Pro so you can offset the cost with your current gear. Safety and reliability should always come first, you know?
