Which DJI Mavic 3 accessories improve travel filming most?

I’m traveling with a DJI Mavic 3 soon and want to upgrade my kit specifically for better travel filming (not just “nice to have” stuff). I’ll be moving between cities a lot, so size/weight matters, and I’m trying to keep the accessory budget around $300–$500. I already have the basic combo, but I’m unsure what actually makes the biggest difference in real-world footage and workflow—ND filters for changing light, extra batteries + a faster charger, a compact hard case, landing pad, etc. For those who travel-film with the Mavic 3, which accessories improved your shots and day-to-day use the most, and which ones ended up being a waste?

Seconding the ND + charging hub advice above — that’s the REAL footage/workflow win. Safety-first add-ons I’d prioritize tho:
- DJI Mavic 3 Propeller Guard for crowded spots/hotel balconies… i had a close call, unfortunately
- Spare props: DJI Mavic 3 Low-Noise Propellers (Pair) — tiny, saves trips when you nick one
- If you run RC Pro, a bright screen matters: DJI RC Pro Control Sticks (Pair) as spares cuz losing one sucks
Landing pads were meh for me unless it’s sandy/pebbly. gl!

Yo—honestly the best travel upgrade imo is a small, reliable foldable landing pad like PGYTECH Landing Pad Pro (Foldable, 55cm), plus a weatherproof backpack insert like Lowepro DroneGuard BP 250… keeps sensors/camera clean and setup FAST (and safer).

Been thinking about this… for travel filming, I think the biggest *footage* upgrade is good ND filters (polarizer/ND combo if you shoot near water/glass). Cheap ones gave me nasty color shift, unfortunately. For workflow, a compact multi-battery hub + decent USB-C PD brick is clutch—charging in cafes/hotels, fewer cables. Hard cases were heavier than expected; I switched to a slim insert. What controller you on btw?

For your situation, ND filters + power stuff made the biggest REAL difference, like immediately. Option A: DJI Mavic 3 ND Filter Set (ND4/8/16/32) vs Option B: cheap 3rd‑party ND kit — DJI’s been more consistent for me; the cheap ones gave me weird color shifts unfortunately.

Option A: extra batteries + fast charging (I use DJI Mavic 3 Intelligent Flight Battery + DJI 65W Portable Charger) vs Option B: just 1 spare — on city hops, the “just 1 spare” plan falls apart fast, lol.

Cases/landing pads… idk. A compact hard case is nice but heavy; landing pad was basically a waste for me unless it’s sand/grass. cheers, gl!
