Which ND filters are best for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3?

I recently picked up the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, and while I’m absolutely loving the quality of that 1-inch sensor, I’m struggling to keep my shutter speed under control in bright daylight. To get that smooth, cinematic motion blur using the 180-degree rule, I really need a solid set of ND filters, but the market is flooded with options right now.

I’ve been doing some research, but I have a few specific concerns. First, since the Pocket 3 uses a magnetic attachment system, I’m worried about how secure some of these third-party filters actually are during fast pans or when walking. I also really want to avoid any weird color shifts—I've seen some filters lean a bit too heavy on the magenta or green side. Another big thing for me is the gimbal clearance; I’d love a set that is thin enough to stay on the lens when the device powers down and stows away.

I’m currently debating between the Freewell All Day kit, the K&F Concept sets, or just sticking with the official DJI ones. Does anyone have experience with these? Specifically, do you find fixed NDs or Variable NDs (VND) more practical for this specific camera? I’d love to hear which brand you think offers the best glass quality for the price.

Similar situation here! I went through this recently and was super paranoid about the magnetic strength during fast pans. I'm a bit of a stickler for technical specs, so I spent ages looking for something that wouldnt stress the motors or mess with calibration. Just sharing my journey with what I tried: 1. NiSi DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Filter Kit (Fixed ND): I've been really satisfied with these cuz they're incredibly thin. They actually stay on when the gimbal stows away without any issues. No weird color shifts either, which is a huge win.
2. PolarPro Vivid Collection for DJI Osmo Pocket 3: Honestly, these are pricey but the magnets feel way more secure than the K&F Concept DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Filter Set mentioned earlier. The glass quality is top-tier. I personally stayed away from VNDs cuz the extra weight can be sketchy for the gimbal's longevity. Fixed NDs worked best for me tho. GL!!

Quick reply while I have a sec! I totally agree with Luciusjem about being paranoid about the magnets... I was so scared my filter would just fly off during a vlog lol. But honestly? You dont have to spend a fortune to get amazing results! I ended up grabbing the NEEWER ND Filter Set for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and it has been absolutely fantastic so far!! Basically, I went with fixed NDs because like ZealousZara mentioned, those VNDs are just way too heavy and I really didnt want to risk burning out my gimbal motors. These Neewer ones are super slim and they dont mess with the startup calibration at all which is a huge win for me. The glass quality is actually super neutral too! I was worried about weird color shifts but I havent seen any at all. Plus they stay on perfectly when the camera shuts down and stows away. If you want something reliable that works great without breaking the bank, definitely check them out. I love how secure they feel even when I am moving the camera around fast!

Actually, K&F Concept DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Filter Set has bad color shifts. Freewell All Day 8-Pack is bulky, so official DJI Osmo Pocket 3 ND Filter Set is safest.

Warning: heavy VNDs stress motors. I went through this last year.
- Thick glass wont let it stow safely.
- Basically, dont risk the gimbal for budget glass!
