Best deals on Fuji X-T5 right now?

Hey everyone,

I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on a Fuji X-T5! Been saving up for a while and super excited to upgrade. But, as the title says, I'm trying to find the best deals on it right now. Prices seem to be all over the place.

I've checked a few of the usual suspects like Amazon and B&H, and also looked at some used options on eBay, but I'm a little hesitant to go used unless it's from a really reputable seller. Ideally, I'd like to snag a new one with a kit lens (maybe the 18-55mm) if the price is right. I'm also wondering if Fuji themselves ever have sales or promotions directly on their website that are worth waiting for.

Has anyone seen any particularly good deals lately, or know of any upcoming sales I should be aware of? Any advice on where to look, or things to watch out for when buying the X-T5 right now? Thanks in advance for any help!

Exactly what I was thinking

Adding my two cents here since I've spent way too much time hunting for bargains... You might want to consider these points before you drop the cash:

  • Watch the official Fujifilm refurbished store like a hawk. It is basically the only safe way to get a big discount and still have a real warranty. Buying from random overseas sellers on eBay is super risky and you wont have any protection if something is wonky.
  • Make sure to check if you qualify for an educational discount. Sometimes they offer a solid chunk off the Fujifilm X-T5 Mirrorless Camera if you have an .edu email or know a student who can help you out.
  • I would suggest getting the body separate from the lens. You can usually find a mint Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS for way less on the used market than paying full retail price in a kit.
  • Tbh, even compared to something like a Sony A6700, the Fuji dials and build feel more reliable for long-term use. The value holds up better too if you ever decide to sell it later. Just be careful with those too-good-to-be-true prices on random websites. If it's way cheaper than the big stores, it is probably a gray market unit with zero manufacturer support.

Hey there! I totally get the excitement of finally getting the X-T5! I've been shooting Fuji for years. Honestly, for the best *new* deals, keep a close eye on authorized dealers like Kenmore Camera. They sometimes have unadvertised bundles or promotions that beat the big box stores, especially if you call and ask directly. I managed to snag mine with a free battery grip that way, saving a bundle. It was 2023, but it works. It depends on your needs, but a decent option to check.

Hey! Congrats on almost joining the X-T5 club! Besides the usual retailers, check out smaller, authorized Fuji dealers. Sometimes they have wiggle room on price or can throw in extras. I've also found keh.com to be a good source for 'Excellent' condition used gear that's practically new, and their ratings are usually conservative. I got a lens from them that looked brand new for like 20% off. Plus, you can often find coupon codes floating around for KEH. Just a thought!

Hey! I totally get the budget struggle. Everyone's suggesting *buying*, but have you considered *renting* the X-T5 first? Seriously! You can rent the body and the 18-55mm kit lens for a weekend for around $100-$150 from places like Lensrentals or BorrowLenses. That buys you time to really research deals and see if you even LOVE the camera before dropping serious cash. Plus, sometimes renting helps you decide if you *really* need that kit lens or if another lens would suit you better. Just a thought!
