I just got my new Fujifilm X-T50 and I'm looking for recommendations on the best external flash unit for it. I mainly shoot portraits and indoor events, so I need something with good power and flexibility for bouncing. I've been considering the official EF-X500 but wondering if there are better third-party options like Godox or other brands that work well with the X-T50's TTL system. What are your experiences and recommendations? Budget is around $300-400. Thanks so much!
For the X-T50, I'd highly recommend the Godox TT350F. It's well-loved, compact, and works both as a shoe mount flash and wireless radio transmitter. Plus it's compatible with the complete Godox 2.4GHz system, so you can expand later with AD-200 or AD-600 units if needed. Perfect size match for the X-T50 without making it too top-heavy.
