Which external flash works best with Fujifilm X-series mirrorless cameras?

Ive been shooting with the X-T series forever but I usually avoid on-camera flash like the plague. Now I've got this wedding in Seattle next month and I actually need a reliable speedlight that won't flake out on me. I know my way around a manual strobe but I'm worried about the TTL accuracy on these bodies since Fuji's system is a bit unique compared to the big brands. I'm looking to spend maybe 300 bucks max. Is the Godox V1 actually as good as people say for Fuji or does the HSS act weird? Or should I just stick to the official Fuji ones even if they cost way more? Just wondering what actually holds up in the field...

Unfortunately, the Godox V1-F TTL Round Head Flash for Fujifilm wasnt as good as expected because HSS acted up. The Fujifilm EF-60 Shoe Mount Flash is safer but way too pricey tho.

I was pretty worried about weird TTL issues too when I first started using my Fuji. Ngl I prefer keeping things simple so I went with the Godox V860III-F TTL Li-ion Flash for Fujifilm and I am honestly super happy with it. It just works. Recycle time is fast and I havent had any weird HSS glitches during my shoots. Its basically a standard choice for a reason. If you want to play it even safer and save some cash the Godox TT685II-F TTL Flash for Fujifilm is another solid pick. It uses AA batteries which I find more reliable if you forget to charge a proprietary pack. Both have worked well for me without any flaking out. Technical accuracy for the TTL seems spot on for my X-T series bodies. I am very satisfied with the results so far and they dont break the bank.

> I actually need a reliable speedlight. @Reply #2 - good point! Just be careful with overheating during receptions. Are you mostly shooting indoors? I would suggest checking the foot durability first.
