According to SAR, Sony is planning to announce a new full frame mirrorless camera on November 19th, and could also a new FE 24-70mm f/2 GM lens.
So which full frame mirrorless camera do you think it will be? a7 V or a1 II?

Ngl im betting my lunch money its gonna be the Sony Alpha 1 II!! The timing is just perfect for a flagship refresh. I love my current gear but the tech is moving so fast right now and the top end needs an update. Here is why i think it has to be the a1 successor:
- The original Sony Alpha 1 is definitely showing its age regarding the autofocus system compared to the newer models. It needs that dedicated AI processing chip from the Sony a7R V to stay on top. Imagine that 50MP sensor with human and animal pose estimation... absolutely amazing!
- That rumored Sony FE 24-70mm f/2 GM is a total pro-grade monster. Sony wouldnt pair a lens that heavy and expensive with a mid-range Sony a7 V launch. It makes way more sense to drop it alongside their most expensive body to show off what it can do.
- Ergonomics! I really hope they bring the body style and that awesome 4-axis flip screen from the Sony a9 III over to the a1 line. It would basically be the perfect camera at that point. Sony usually takes their time with the base a7 series anyway, so the a7 V is probably still a ways off. Cant wait for the 19th to see if im right tho!
