So I'm pretty new to this whole Z8 thing but honestly, I spent forever researching this because the prices for cards are just wild. Tbh, I was worried about the budget too. I actually went a bit of a DIY route that I saw some enthusiasts talking about online. Instead of the big names, I bought a Delkin Devices Power CFexpress Type B because it was way cheaper than the Cobalt cards but still seems super fast for my 45MP shots. I also looked into those adapters where you can basically make your own card using an SSD, like the Sintech CFexpress Type B Card Adapter, which is a cool self-service way to save money if your tech-savvy. I havent tried the 8K video for long periods yet, but for everything else, it’s been great. Maybe look into the DIY adapter thing if you want more storage for your buck? Just a thought from a fellow newbie!

I use  Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B. Works well and very fast.
