How can I share my Amazon shopping cart with a friend?

man im honestly so fed up with amazon right now like why is this so hard to do?? im trying to plan this big hiking trip to zion for next month with my best friend and ive spent like an hour finding the perfect tent and portable stove and everything. i have everything in my cart but i literally cannot find a share button anywhere. i just want her to see what i picked so we can split the bill before i checkout because my budget is super tight this month.

do i really have to send her like 15 individual links or am i just missing something obvious? how do i just send her my whole cart at once so we can get this over with?

Like someone mentioned, the cart itself is basically locked to your account for security reasons, which is a total pain for group trips. I have been organizing gear hauls for years and honestly, the best way to handle this without losing your mind over 20 tabs is using a browser extension. In my experience, trying to do this natively on the Amazon site is a losing battle. I've tried many different workarounds over the years, and these are the most reliable options:Share-A-Cart: Its a free extension for Chrome or Firefox that generates a unique code for your specific cart. You just send that code to your friend, they enter it on their side, and your whole list of gear pops up in their cart instantly. It even works with different regions sometimes.Public Lists: Move everything from the cart to a new List, then hit the invite button. Just make sure the privacy is set to Shared or Public so she can actually see it without a login error.The manual screenshot method: If she just needs to see the prices to venmo you, honestly just grab a scrolling screenshot on your phone and send the image. Yeah i remember getting annoyed by this too when i first started doing group gear lists. Amazon just doesnt let you share the actual cart directly which is kind of weird but i guess they have their reasons. Ive been using the list feature for years and its honestly worked out well for me and my hiking buddies. No complaints really since it keeps everything organized. Before i tell you the best way to handle this tho, i just need to know a couple things so i dont give you useless info:

Are you trying to have her add her own items to the same list so you guys can see the total price together?

Do you need her to actually be able to pay for specific items herself, or are you just looking for a thumbs up on the gear choices before you swipe your card? Knowing that makes a big difference in how you set it up.
