So Im feeling a bit silly but I am really stuck here and dont know what to do. My mom is having this huge 40th anniversary party next Saturday back home in Tampa and I told her I would help her pick out all the decorations and supplies because she gets super overwhelmed with all the different options on Amazon and usually ends up buying the wrong sizes.
Ive spent like three hours tonight clicking through pages and pages of gold streamers and those fancy heavy duty napkins and a bunch of those little fairy lights everyone uses. I finally have everything in my cart and it looks perfect. Its about 185 dollars worth of stuff which is right under the 200 dollar budget she gave me for the decor.
Now that I have all 24 items sitting in my cart I realized I have no idea how to actually give the cart to her. I thought I could just click a button and email the whole thing over so she could pay with her own credit card but I am looking all over the screen and I dont see anything like that anywhere. I tried to just copy the website link at the top of the browser and text it to her but she said when she opened it her cart was empty and it just showed her own stuff she was looking at earlier today.
Im really not good at this tech stuff so maybe I am missing a giant button right in front of my face? I am using my laptop but I also have the app on my phone if that is easier for sharing. I really dont want to have to search for all 24 items again on her account when I go visit because we need to order them tonight so they get there in time for the setup on Friday. Is there a way to turn a cart into a link or something that she can just click and buy? Or maybe a way to move it to a list that she can see on her end? Im totally lost and feel kinda dumb asking this but I really need a simple way to do this... how do I actually send my cart to someone else?
I experienced a very similar situation when I was organizing a large event last year! I had spent hours selecting items only to find that Amazon lacks a direct share button for carts. It was quite a challenge at first, but I discovered a fantastic method that is incredibly efficient! Honestly, the list feature is a total lifesaver for these situations. Here is the methodical way I handled it:
