I'm trying to get supplies for a charity auction next weekend and I've got about 15 items sitting in my cart. The budget is tight-exactly 250 bucks-so I need to send the whole list to my supervisor for a quick sign-off.
I've used Amazon since the early days so I know my way around the UI but I'm totally stuck here. I thought there would be a simple share cart button or maybe a URL parameter I could tweak but everything I find is just for individual items. My logic was to avoid the whole move to list workflow because it's such a hassle to undo later. Is there a way to generate a single link for the whole batch or am I just overthinking this...

I've been using their site for ages and always ran into the same thing. The easiest way to share a cart is by using a third-party extension. It works well and I'm pretty satisfied with how it handles multiple items without that list hassle. Just install it and click share... super simple.

Regarding what #1 said about "> Is there a way to generate a..." - it really hits home for me. I had a similar situation last year when I was organizing a community garden project. I had a cart full of soil testers and seeds, and the treasurer was being super picky about the budget. I tried the whole move to list thing at first, but honestly, it was such a headache to move everything back. I eventually found the share amazon cart extension and it made my life so much easier. Here are a few things I learned from that process:
- Prices on Amazon change constantly, so speed is everything.
- Managers usually prefer one link over fifteen individual ones.
- Wish lists sometimes hide the exact quantity you selected. It definitely worked out better for me than the manual way. I just sent the link and got the okay in like five minutes... totally worth looking into if you want to avoid the hassle.
