honestly im just so done with the etiquette police lately. i am trying to finish the invites for my sisters shower in like three weeks and im stuck on the registry info. i want to put links for target amazon and this cute local boutique in seattle because they have better eco options but my mom is acting like it is the height of rudeness to list more than one.

i just want people to have choices especially since things are so expensive right now and i want to make sure there are items for every budget. is it actually tacky to have three store links on an invite or is she just being old school? idk what to do anymore...

Your moms definitely being a bit old school here. Trying the 'one store' rule for my first shower was a total letdown. Unfortunately, the main place I picked had terrible stock issues. Half my guests ended up frustrated because nothing was available. The stroller I finally got from there wasnt even as good as expected compared to the boutique ones.

  • giving people options actually saves them a massive headache
  • local shops usually have way better quality for the big stuff
  • it keeps you from getting ten of the same thing from one place Maybe use Share Product to keep the links organized so the invite doesnt look cluttered. I spent way too much time worrying about etiquette and ended up with stuff I didnt even like... just do what works for your sister and ignore the noise.
