What are the best strategies to find hidden deals on Prime Day?

so prime day is coming up next month and honestly I am so lost. i just got my first apartment in chicago and i really need a good air fryer and maybe a vacuum but my budget is only like 150 bucks total for both if possible.

whenever i look at the amazon homepage everything looks like a deal but my sister says the real good stuff is hidden or you have to use certain extensions? i dont even know what that means lol. sorry if this is a super basic question but how do people actually find the secret discounts that arent just on the front page? i dont want to get ripped off by fake original prices...

Honestly, I hate to be a buzzkill but I have to disagree a bit with the advice to just camp on Lightning Deals. Unfortunately, I had some major issues with those last year because most of the air fryers were just cheap brands I never heard of. It was not as good as I expected at all and it felt like a total waste of time tbh. If you want to stay under 150 for both an air fryer and a vacuum, following the front page stuff is probably gonna let you down. Ive tried a few combos and here is the breakdown for a small apartment:Instant Pot Vortex and a cheap stick vacuum: The air fryer is basically perfect but those cheap cordless vacuums are honestly useless on anything but hardwood. Super disappointing if you have rugs in Chicago.Ninja Air Fryer and Shark Corded: This is the dream combo but usually costs way more than 150 new.Generic off-brand air fryer and refurbished Bissell: Youll hit your budget but the air fryer might have that weird chemical smell for a week which is just gross. You should check out PriceDropCatch if you do a lot of shopping on Amazon; the price history charts are super helpful for seeing if a deal is actually real. Ngl, most of those Prime Day price drops are just the normal price from two weeks ago. I find it way better to look at the Warehouse section for open-box stuff instead of the flashy banners... you get way more for your money that way.

I always check price history so I dont get tricked by fake markups. Been using PriceDropCatch lately and it works well for seeing if a deal is actually real.
