Anyone spotting good Sony a6100 Cyber Monday deals for 2025 yet? I’m looking to upgrade from my phone for travel and casual street photography. Ideally I want the body with the 16-50mm kit lens, maybe a memory card or extra battery bundled in. Have prices actually dropped compared to regular sales, and which stores or sites are offering the best value this year?

Man, you are gonna absolutely love making the jump from a phone! I remember my first big trip with the Sony Alpha a6100 with 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens and it was a total game changer for street photography. The autofocus is just amazing! Definitely check Best Buy for those exclusive bundles... they often include a Sony NP-FW50 Rechargeable Battery Pack and a carrying case which is perfect for travel. The prices are fantastic right now, usually the lowest of the year. Quick tip: since you're shooting street, pick up a SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB SDXC UHS-I so you dont get hung up waiting for the buffer to clear during bursts. Also, turn on the eye af immediately... it makes hitting focus on people way too easy compared to a smartphone! The real-time tracking on this sensor is a beast for candid shots.
