Re: "Noted!" - definitely keep an eye on those links. But honestly, be careful when shopping these sales because some sellers might try to offload gray market units that dont have a US warranty. I would suggest double checking the Sold By section on Amazon before you hit buy. Since you are a beginner, you might want to consider these bits to make sure everything works right out of the box:

I am actually stuck in this exact same loop trying to decide which model to pull the trigger on before the sales end. Its a bit of a technical headache when you start comparing the actual data readouts and sensor performance between the current options. I've been looking at a few different paths and honestly the specs are making me hesitate.

Pros: Best price to performance ratio with the current discounts. Cons: That old NP-FW50 battery is honestly mediocre for long shoots and the rolling shutter in 4K is pretty noticeable during fast pans.

Pros: You get 10-bit 4:2:2 video and the much larger NP-FZ100 battery which is a massive upgrade for stamina. Cons: The price jump is steep even with holiday promos and you lose the mechanical shutter entirely.

Pros: Incredible internal stabilization and 6K open gate recording capabilities. Cons: Much bulkier body and the ecosystem is usually more expensive than the Sony E-mount deals. I would suggest being very careful about the battery life if you go with the original model. Make sure to factor in the cost of extra spares or a dummy battery setup if you plan on streaming for more than an hour. Still havent decided which way to go myself tho...
