Hey everyone!
So, I've been eyeing the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV for ages, and I'm really hoping to finally pull the trigger on it. My current camera is starting to show its age, and the 5D Mark IV's full-frame sensor and robust build are exactly what I need for my growing photography hobby, especially for landscape and portrait work.

From a performance standpoint, the 5D IV still holds its own in 2025. The dynamic range at ISO 100 is still top-tier for landscape work. Just a heads up—to really maximize that dual-pixel raw performance and avoid buffer lag, you’ll want to pair it with high-speed glass.
