I just picked up the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and I am absolutely loving the image quality, but I am struggling with overexposed shots in bright sunlight. Since the aperture is fixed at f/2.0, I really need a solid set of ND filters to keep my shutter speed around that 180-degree rule for natural motion blur.
I have been looking at the Freewell Mega Pack and the K&F Concept sets, but I am worried about the magnetic strength—I don't want them falling off while I am moving around. I am mainly looking for a balance between color accuracy and ease of use. For those of you who have tested a few brands, which specific ND filter set do you think offers the best value and performance for outdoor shooting?
I would suggest Freewell Mega Pack for DJI Osmo Pocket 3. I've used them and they're okay, but be careful with the magnets...
Sooo i was pretty disappointed with the magnet strength on some sets lately. Freewell was mentioned already, but i had issues with the K&F Concept Magnetic ND Filter Set for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 slipping off during pans which is highkey stressful.
Big if true
> I am worried about the magnetic strength—I don't want them falling off Check out the Neewer 6-Pack ND Filter Set for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 as a solid budget alternative. Honestly, magnets can be sketchy, so I would suggest keeping the lens totally clean... skin oil makes them slip easily, I think? Also, you might find the Photopills app useful for calculating your shutter speed exactly to nail that 180-degree rule. Hope it helps!
