TL;DR: In the same boat, but honestly I'm terrified of getting scammed by grey market sellers just to save a few bucks. Stumbled upon this because I've been hunting for the same thing and it's driving me nuts. I'm seeing a few deals that look decent but my main concern is the reliability of some of these sellers. You really gotta watch out for those random sites offering huge discounts. If you buy a grey market unit, you can basically kiss your warranty goodbye. Fuji service centers usually wont even look at a camera if it wasnt meant for your region. It's just not worth the risk for a hundred bucks or whatever. I'm also seeing people report boxes arriving with missing batteries or chargers because the seller stripped them out to sell separately. Just stay away from anything that isnt an authorized dealer... not worth ending up with a $1700 paperweight.

Current price is $1699, hope Black Friday 2024 the price will dropped to $1499 or lower.
