I just got the X-S20, please suggest me some good SD card for it.
I highly recommend the SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-II card. They offer excellent read and write speeds, which is crucial for the X-S20's 4K video capabilities and fast burst shooting. I've been using the 128GB version without any issues. Make sure to get a UHS-II card to take full advantage of the camera's performance.
Honestly had a pretty rough time with my last set of cards. Used to swear by the big brands but the plastic casing on my last few started peeling apart... super annoying when youre in the middle of a shoot and the card wont even eject properly. Its not as good as I expected from them lately. Switched over to the Sony SF-G Tough Series 128GB UHS-II V90 and the build quality is night and day. No ribs to break off and no write-protect switch to accidentally flip. If you want something a bit cheaper but still solid, the Kingston Canvas React Plus 128GB UHS-II V90 has been surprisingly reliable for my X-S20 too. Quick tip: just go for a V90 card from the start. Saving a few bucks on V60 isnt worth the frustration when the buffer chokes during a burst.
Omg I am literally having the same exact panic right now with my new setup! Even as someone who has been shooting for years, the SD card market is a total minefield lately. I am so picky about data safety because one failure can ruin everything!
Any UHS-II V90 cards are OK.
