Hey! Looking for a good travel lens for my new Lumix S1R II. I'm thinking something versatile for landscapes and street photography. Got around $1500 to spend. Any recommendations for a solid all-in-one zoom lens in that price range?

Hey! I actually use the Panasonic 24-105mm f/4. It's versatile and usually around $1200. Image quality is great for the price. Might want to check it out!

Hey! For that S1R II sensor, consider the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art. Edge-to-edge sharpness is fantastic, even wide open! Technically, it's designed for mirrorless, so the flange distance is optimized. Chromatic aberration is well-controlled, too. You might find one used around $1100. Good luck!

Before splurging, consider renting. A used Lumix 24-105mm f/4 is a decent option around $700. It works well for both landscapes and street. Save the rest for future travel! Depends on your needs but renting buys time for better deals.

Consider a used Lumix 24-105mm. Prioritize weather sealing; protects your investment in the long run.

Before buying, research lens calibration DIY. Might save you $$$ versus pro service if you're handy!

Sigma's a good value. Consider the Tamron 28-200mm; read reviews across brands before you buy. Happy hunting!
