Is there any way to just push my whole Amazon cart over to my roommates account without me having to re-add everything one by one? Ive got like 40 items in there for our new place in Brooklyn and we need to order tonight to get the moving day delivery.

Im torn between making a public Wish List or using that Share-a-Cart extension but I heard lists mess up the quantities sometimes and I dont know if the extension is legit. My roommate has the Prime account and the budget so he has to be the one to checkout. Which way is faster and actually works? I really dont want to spend hours re-finding these specific curtains...

Just saw this! Honestly, for 40 items you should definitely use the Share-a-Cart extension. Its way faster than lists.

  • Wish Lists: Safe because its an Amazon feature, but you lose the quantity settings which is annoying.
  • Share-a-Cart: Fantastic for bulk stuff. It basically generates a code so your roommate just hits receive and boom, everything is there. Good luck with the move, Brooklyn is gonna be amazing!

Moving to Brooklyn is gonna be expensive enough, so dont waste time re-adding 40 items manually. Like someone mentioned, lists are kinda buggy with quantities and a total pain. Ive been really satisfied using Cart To Link lately whenever I need to send my shopping list to someone else to pay. It works well and keeps everything in one spot without the headache of re-searching for those specific curtains. Since you are probably watching the budget for the new place, here are a few tips:

  • Look for those little green coupon checkboxes on the item pages before you send the link, they add up fast.
  • If you are buying bulk stuff like soaps or cleaning supplies, see if there is a bundle deal.
  • Double check if any of your kitchen items have Warehouse deals for open box stuff to save an extra 20 percent. Honestly, just getting it all in one cart fast is the goal so you dont miss the delivery window. Good luck with the move!

Listen, I totally get the moving stress and Brooklyn is gonna be amazing! I've moved five times in five years so I've mastered this exact logistics nightmare. You definitely have options to get this done fast. Wish Lists are the standard method but they're honestly kinda frustrating for big moves like yours.

  • Pros: Zero setup and very secure.
  • Cons: It completely ignores quantities! If you need four sets of curtains, your roommate will only see one. It's a major fail for bulk orders. Using a browser extension is a fantastic alternative tho. I personally love using a simple tool for share Amazon cart because it is specifically built for this purpose.
  • Pros: It transfers everything including quantities and specific sizes in just two clicks.
  • Cons: You both need the extension installed to make the cart handshake work. Honestly, the extension route is the only way to go if you want to be done in five minutes. It's been a total lifesaver for my household budget meetings! Just generate the code, send it to your roommate, and he can load the whole cart instantly. It is so much faster than clicking through a list and re-adding 40 items manually. Good luck with the move!
