What is the simplest way to share my Amazon cart link?

To add to the point above: lists are way better for watching those price drops. I remember when I was buying stuff for my first apartment:

• I saved about 40 bucks by being patient.
• I bought this cheap neon toaster that smelled like burning plastic.
• Found a fix for the digital timer on Smartphone Board tho. It eventually melted a spatula during finals and we had to open every window in December. Anyway lol sorry kinda went off topic there.

Unfortunately, you cant just copy-paste the URL from your browser because Amazon carts are private and tied to your specific account session. If you send her your cart link, she will just see her own empty cart instead of your dorm stuff. Its really disappointing that they havent made a simple button for this yet. I tried to use a third-party browser extension once to share a cart and it was not as good as expected, honestly it felt like a security risk and it ended up glitching out anyway. I found out the hard way that there is no direct share button. You have to do it this way to be safe and reliable:

• Go to your cart and click Move to List for every item you need.
• Open your Lists and find the one you just made.
• Click Invite in the top right corner and choose the View Only link.
• Copy that link and text it to her. This is the only way to make sure she gets the exact bedding and size you want without any expensive mixups. I had issues with items being the wrong color when I just sent screenshots before. Using a list is a bit of a chore but it is the most conservative way to ensure she sees your exact choices. Its not as simple as it should be but it is the only method that actually works for someone else to pay.

• I actually have to politely disagree that it is a lost cause! Amazon makes it super easy if you use the List feature instead of the cart, and honestly, it is even better for dorm shopping. I have been using this trick for years and it is absolutely fantastic for avoiding mistakes! Here is the quickest way to do it on your phone:
• Tap the heart icon or "Add to List" on all your bedding and stuff.
• Go to your Lists, find the one you made, and hit "Invite".
• Select the "View and Edit" link and text it to your mom. She can see every single item you picked out and add them to her own cart in one go. It is seriously amazing how well it works! Good luck with the dorm move-in, it is gonna be such a blast. Itll be way easier for her to just click and pay that way without you needing to share logins or anything.
