How can I share my Amazon shopping cart with someone else?

I'm trying to coordinate a surprise camping trip for my brother's 30th next month and I've got about $450 worth of gear sitting in my Amazon cart right now. I really need my sister to double check the list before I hit buy on Friday but there's no obvious share button which is so annoying. I'm looking at using that Share-a-cart browser extension but then I saw some old threads saying to just move everything to a public Wish List instead. The extension seems way faster since I already have everything picked out but I'm worried about privacy stuff. Is the extension better for a one-time thing or should I just stick to the manual list method?

I just saw your post and honestly, stick with the extension. I have used it for a few group gifts lately and I am really satisfied with how it works without the hassle of making everything a public list first. It basically just creates a unique code that your sister can plug in on her end to see exactly what you have in there. Here is why it works well for me:

It handles the quantity and specific sellers correctly which lists sometimes mess up.

You dont have to worry about your whole wishlist being public forever.

It takes like two seconds to generate the link once you have the plugin installed. The only other real way is giving her your login, which is a bad idea imo for security. If you are still unsure, there is a helpful breakdown on Smartphone Board that explains the technical side of the extension. It made me feel a lot better about the privacy stuff before I used it the first time.

manual lists: tedious and slow amazon cart share: instant and safe Tbh ive used the extension for years and im satisfied with how it handles big carts. Works great.
