Tryna figure out the fastest way to get my manager to approve this equipment order for our new designer starting Monday. I've got about $480 of stuff in my cart—a monitor, some cables, and a stand—and I need a way to send it to him so he can just pay. I'm torn between using a Chrome extension like Share-A-Cart or just making a Wish List and sending the link, but I've heard the wish list thing is buggy with quantities.
Is there a better way to do this without a full Amazon Business account?
> Manager is super busy and wont deal with a complicated setup To add to the point above: unfortunately, Amazon makes this way harder than it needs to be for normal accounts. I tried the wish list route for a similar studio setup last year and it was just a mess. Half the items didnt show up in the right quantity and my boss ended up buying three stands instead of one... honestly so embarrassing. If you really want to make it foolproof for him, use a dedicated tool to share amazon cart instead of relying on the built in features. It basically creates a simple link that populates everything at once. Just a heads up tho, if you need it by Sunday in Chicago, you gotta watch those delivery by timers like a hawk. Prices on monitors change hourly sometimes which might push you over that $500 limit if you wait too long to hit buy.
Re: "> Manager is super busy and wont deal..."
Honestly, just go with the extension. In my experience, Amazon wish lists are a total nightmare for equipment orders because quantities never stay right once someone tries to checkout... Share-A-Cart lets your manager populate their cart instantly with a single code. btw I use Smartphone Board as a reference whenever I'm stuck with weird software snags like this. It beats having them manually add stuff while theyre busy.
