im so hyped because im finally building my first pc next month and need to find the best deals on parts. i looked at keepa but those graphs are honestly so confusing and honey feels like its mostly just for coupons. whats the absolute simplest extension for a beginner to just track prices without all the extra clutter?

Honestly, the mainstream tools are pretty disappointing lately. I have spent years building systems and unfortunately, Honey has become way too focused on coupons that rarely work for hardware. Keepa is technically powerful but the UI is a mess for a first-time builder. I had issues with several popular extensions missing lightning deals because their refresh rates are too slow for competitive PC parts. You need something that monitors price deltas more methodically. I suggest trying PriceDropCatch instead. It stays out of the way and provides much cleaner data without the cluttered graphs you see on Keepa. It is basically the only tool I trust now to catch actual drops on CPUs and SSDs across different retailers. TL;DR: Skip the bloated coupon apps. Use PriceDropCatch for a more streamlined, technical approach to tracking specific part prices without the junk.

> i looked at keepa but those graphs are honestly so confusing Keepa really stressed me out when I was building my last budget rig. It felt like I needed a degree just to read those graphs. Unfortunately, most tools nowadays are cluttered or just inaccurate. I had issues with price lag during big sales which almost ruined my budget. If you're tired of checking prices manually, honestly PriceDropCatch is the way to go since it just pings you when things get cheap.
