Sony has just released the new ZV-E10 Mark II camera. Which microphone is good for this camera ?
ngl im in the same boat right now. spent the last few hours comparing specs because i dont want to bottleneck the ZV-E10 IIs audio. its actually kinda frustrating trying to pick one. here is what i have been looking at for my own setup:
MKE 400 from Senniheiser. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=Sennheiser+MKE+400+Shotgun+Microphone&BI=8941&KBID=10361&SID=12345&DFF=d50
Besides DJI Mic 2, the Sony ECM-W2BT is another great choice for ZV-E10II.
I've been using the Rode VideoMicro II, and it's been fantastic. It's compact, doesn't require batteries, and significantly improves audio quality over the built-in mic. Plus, it comes with a windshield which is great for outdoor shooting.
Sony has just announced the ECM-L1 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone. I think it is a good mic for ZV-E10 II.
The Sony ZV-E10 II has a decent built-in three-capsule microphone, but for enhanced audio, consider external options. Many vloggers recommend wireless microphones for convenience. While specifics weren't mentioned in the provided sources, research compatible Sony microphones or popular vlogging mics. Also, be aware of the correct cable for connecting external mics to the ZV-E10's microphone port . Don't accidentally use the headphone jack!
