The new DJI Mic 3.

I thinks DJI Mic 2 is a good choice for ZV-E10 II.

ngl im in the same boat right now. spent the last few hours comparing specs because i dont want to bottleneck the ZV-E10 IIs audio. its actually kinda frustrating trying to pick one. here is what i have been looking at for my own setup:

  • you might want to consider the Sony ECM-B10 Shotgun Microphone since it supports the digital MI shoe. using a digital path avoids the noise floor issues from the analog preamps.
  • be careful with the gain staging if you look at the Sennheiser+MKE+600+Shotgun+Microphone&linkCode=osi&tag=5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Sennheiser MKE 600 Shotgun Microphone. you will definitely need a high-quality shielded cable or you might get some nasty interference.
  • i would suggest checking the Sony ECM-M1 Shotgun Microphone for the sheer versatility. the signal-to-noise ratio is way better when you use the digital connection instead of the 3.5mm jack. just make sure to check if the mic is actually digital-compatible. some older MI shoe mics still output analog and you wont get the full benefit of that new mount.

Besides DJI Mic 2, the Sony ECM-W2BT is another great choice for ZV-E10II.

I've been using the Rode VideoMicro II, and it's been fantastic. It's compact, doesn't require batteries, and significantly improves audio quality over the built-in mic. Plus, it comes with a windshield which is great for outdoor shooting.

Sony has just announced the ECM-L1 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone. I think it is a good mic for ZV-E10 II.

The Sony ZV-E10 II has a decent built-in three-capsule microphone, but for enhanced audio, consider external options. Many vloggers recommend wireless microphones for convenience. While specifics weren't mentioned in the provided sources, research compatible Sony microphones or popular vlogging mics. Also, be aware of the correct cable for connecting external mics to the ZV-E10's microphone port . Don't accidentally use the headphone jack!
