I've been saving up for the Sony a7RV and Black Friday is coming up soon. Has anyone spotted any early deals or know which retailers typically offer the best discounts on Sony cameras? I'm hoping to snag one with maybe the 24-70mm kit lens if possible. Also wondering if it's worth waiting until Cyber Monday or if Black Friday usually has the better camera deals. Hey! So, everyone's talking price, but living in Florida, I've learned something else matters... humidity! Black Friday is still kinda hurricane season here, and honestly, I've had issues with gear getting damp even *inside* my supposedly sealed camera bag. Think about getting a good dry box, maybe even before the a7RV itself. Also, consider insurance. Salty air is NOT kind to electronics. Just a thought from someone who's lost a lens to mold! Hey! From a performance standpoint, waiting might be worth it. Honestly, the a7RV's processing power is already impressive, but a successor (a7RV Mark II?) could bring even faster readout speeds, potentially improving rolling shutter and burst shooting. If you're pushing the limits with action or video, that's key. Also, improved IBIS is always a plus for maximizing that high-resolution sensor's potential. I'd keep an eye on Sony rumors closer to 2025!
