Hey everyone! I'm looking to finally upgrade from my phone camera and have been eyeing the Canon EOS Rebel T7 for months. With Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up, I'm hoping to snag a great deal. Has anyone spotted any good discounts on this camera yet? I'm also open to bundle deals that include extra lenses or accessories. Should I wait for Cyber Monday or do camera deals typically drop on Black Friday? Thanks for any tips!

Honestly, if youre looking for the absolute best value, keep a close eye on the Canon Online Store refurbished section during the holiday sales. The community swears by it because those bodies are basically brand new and come with a full warranty. Tbh, one thing to watch out for with the T7 bundles is the kit lens. Make sure youre getting the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II with image stabilization. Some of the super cheap doorbuster deals swap it for the non-IS version, which is a pain for handheld shots. If you wanna see what that 24.1MP sensor can really do, try to find a deal on the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM too. It usually drops to like $100 around Black Friday and it's basically the gold standard for learning how to get that nice bokeh. Its way better than just sticking with the kit lens for everything. Just my two cents as someone who has been shooting Canon glass for years!

Based on previous years, Canon cameras typically see their biggest discounts during Black Friday rather than Cyber Monday. Black Friday & Cyber Monday will be a great chance to get a Canon T7 DSLR camera since the price is the lowest ever. I'd suggest setting up price alerts on Amazon, B&H Photo now. Don't sleep on the two-lens bundles either - sometimes they're only $50-100 more than the single lens kit.

People still buy old DSLRs because they’re cheap, durable, and already offer excellent image quality. Used bodies and lenses are very affordable, ideal for learners and budget-conscious photographers. Many prefer the optical viewfinder and comfortable ergonomics. For most uses—travel, portraits, casual work—an older DSLR is “good enough,” making new, expensive mirrorless gear unnecessary.

The T7 is perfect for upgrading from phone photography! The Canon T7 is an excellent entry-level DSLR camera for smartphone or digital point-and-shoot camera users looking to step up their imaging game. With a large 24.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor, fast autofocus, built-in wireless connectivity and more, it combines fantastic features with easy operation. Last year I saw bundle deals that included extra batteries, memory cards, and camera bags for around $450-500. Definitely worth waiting for the deals!
