@Reply #1 - good point! It's wild how fast the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM went last time. I've bought refurbished before and it's usually a solid win, but you might want to consider the specific technical trade-offs before clicking buy. Before you jump on the Canon EOS R5 or even the R6, make sure to ask yourself:

  • Are you prioritizing that massive resolution for heavy cropping, or do you really need the better low-light performance of the lower megapixel sensors?
  • Is your current computer hardware actually gonna handle those massive R5 files, or will you end up needing a whole new PC just to edit? Ngl, it’s easy to get FOMO when prices drop like this. I would suggest double checking the warranty details on the site too... usually it’s a year but sometimes things change during these big holiday sales. If you share what you're mostly shooting, I can help look at the specs with you.
