After Canon announced EOS R5 Mark II and EOS R1, next rumored camera is the EOS R6 Mark III, will it be released in late 2024 ?

Based on CR, EOS R6 Mark III will probably released in late 2024.

Honestly I dont think we are gonna see it in late 2024. Canon usually takes their time to make sure things are actually stable before a big release. I learned that the hard way when I bought my current setup right at launch and it had some weird freezing issues that nearly ruined a shoot for me. It was super frustrating... kinda made me realize that a reliable piece of gear is way better than just having the latest thing on the shelf. If they wait until 2025 it probably means they actually ironed out the bugs. My current setup works well enough for now so I'm not in a massive rush.

It's certainly possible that Canon could release the R6 Mark III in late 2024, but I think it's a bit too early to say for sure. Canon typically follows a 2-3 year cycle for camera updates, and the R6 Mark II was just released in late 2022. My guess would be early to mid-2025 for the R6 Mark III, but Canon could always surprise us!
