How can I set up price alerts for Nike clearance items?

Ive been deal hunting for years and usually I can track anything but Nike's clearance section is tripping me up. I'm trying to snag some Pegasus 40s for under 70 bucks before my marathon in June and I need to get notified the second they hit that price in my size 11. My logic was just to use a basic page monitor extension but it keeps failing to pick up the price changes in the grid because of how the page loads. So I was thinking maybe there's a specific app or some script people use just for Nike? I'm super hyped to get these but I dont want to manually refresh the page ten times a day... what are you guys using for this?

Ngl I have been in your exact shoes and it is honestly so frustrating. Last year I was obsessively tracking some Vomeros and my old setup completely failed me because of how Nike loads their dynamic prices. I thought I was being smart with a custom script but I ended up missing the drop by like four hours. Super disappointing tbh. A few things I learned the hard way:

  • Most generic page monitors just cant handle the way Nike refreshes their clearance grid.
  • Checking manually is a total trap because you always end up missing those random 3 AM restocks.
  • I eventually gave up on my own messy tools and switched over to this Nike price tracker which actually handles their backend way better. I still feel the sting of missing those shoes tho... definitely dont rely on basic extensions if you really need that size 11 for your race.

Re: "Ngl I have been in your exact shoes..." - totally agree. Unfortunately, most basic extensions fail because Nikes site uses a shadow DOM that hides those price elements from simple scrapers. It is so frustrating. Quick question tho, are you looking for a specific colorway or literally any pair in your size? Sometimes checking the mobile app is slightly faster. You should check out PriceDropCatch if you want an alert sent the second those running shoes go on sale.
