Hey everyone! I'm already looking ahead to potentially grabbing a DJI Mini 5 Pro. With Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025 being quite a way off, I'm curious about what kind of deals we might see. Has anyone heard whispers or have predictions on potential discounts for the Mini 5 Pro by then? Is it worth waiting, or will prices likely stabilize before big sales?

Re: "You can set price drop alert at WhenPriceDrop.com...."

  • Honestly those alerts dont always save you as much as you'd hope. Last time I waited for a big holiday sale on a new release, it was a total letdown. I sat around for months hoping to save a couple hundred bucks, but by the time I got the unit, the quality control was just... not there. It felt like they rushed a huge batch for the holiday rush and the gimbal had issues right out of the box. Actually, I kinda disagree with waiting specifically for the Mini series deals. I've had so many issues with the recent firmware and restrictive zones that the savings just dont feel worth the frustration anymore. Its disappointing because I used to be such a huge fan, but the experience lately has been pretty subpar compared to how things used to be. If you want my advice as someone who has been flying since the early days, just look at any of the latest pro gear from Autel instead. Their stuff feels way more solid and you dont have to deal with nearly as many software headaches. Just grab any of their high-end drones and you'll likely be much happier in the long run.

Hey! Ah, 2025 for the Mini 5 Pro, that's a smart long-game for sure! Honestly, by then, the *base unit* price might have stabilized a bit, but the *real deals* will likely be on the Fly More Combo. DJI *always* discounts those incredible bundles during Black Friday/Cyber Monday. You'll probably see a solid $100-200 off the Fly More kit, which is fantastic value for the extra batteries and charging hub. Waiting is definitely worth it for those combo savings, trust me, I've seen it happen with every Mini release!

Hey everyone! While everyone's eyeing the deals, I've learned over the years to be a bit cautious when it comes to deep discounts on drones. In my experience, sometimes those Black Friday 'too good to be true' prices can be for older batches, refurbished units, or even grey market stock. For a Mini 5 Pro, where reliability and flight safety are paramount, you really want a fresh, fully warrantied unit. Saving a bit now isn't worth potential headaches or, worse, a crash later. Just something to keep in mind!
