Hey everyone! I finally pulled the trigger on a DJI Mini 4 Pro after eyeing it for months. I went with the Fly More Combo, so I’ve got the extra batteries and the RC 2 controller, which is awesome. However, I’m planning a trip to the coast soon and I want to make sure I have everything I need to get the best footage and keep the drone safe. I’ve been looking at ND filters because I’ve heard they’re essential for that 'cinematic look' in bright daylight, but I’m not sure which brand offers the best balance of quality and price. I’m also a bit worried about landing on uneven terrain or sand, so I was considering a portable landing pad or even those clip-on landing gear extensions—do those actually help or just add unnecessary weight? Lastly, the bag that comes with the combo is okay, but it feels a bit cramped once I add a tablet mount or extra cables. For those of you who have been flying the Mini 4 Pro for a while, what are the absolute must-have accessories that you actually use every time you go out? I'd love to hear your recommendations on specific brands for filters, cases, or any other 'quality of life' gear I might be missing!

Sooo I actually just got mine too and I'm obsessed!! For the coast, you gotta get filters or the water reflects way too much light... I use Freewell Bright Day 6-Pack ND/PL Filters for DJI Mini 4 Pro and they're basically perfect for getting that cinematic vibe without breaking the bank!

Here's what I recommend for your trip:
* Skip the clip-on legs... they add weight and kinda mess with the sensors. Just get a PGYTECH Drone Landing Pad Pro 20 inch to keep sand out of the gimbal!!
* For the bag, the Lykus Titan MM410 Hard Case for DJI Mini 4 Pro fits the RC 2 and all your extra gear way better than the stock one.
* Grab a SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-I Card V30 U3 A2 cuz it handles the high bitrate 4K video easily.

Honestly, the landing pad is lowkey the most important for the beach so you dont ruin the motors with grit. Have fun on your trip!! gl!

Sooo, ngl, skip those landing legs! They basically add weight and can mess with your balance in coastal winds. Hand-launching is WAY safer for sand. If the bag is too cramped, I HIGHLY recommend the GPC DJI Mini 4 Pro Hard Case—it’s super rugged and actually fits the RC 2 with a tablet mount perfectly. It's been a total lifesaver for me! gl!

Seconding the recommendation above about skipping those landing legs!! Hand launching is 100% the way to go, especially near the ocean. Honestly, fine sand is the ENEMY of your gimbal motors and can cause permanent damage if it gets inside. Being cautious is key when you're starting out.

Since you're looking for that cinematic look on a budget, I've been really satisfied with the K&F Concept DJI Mini 4 Pro ND Filter Set (ND8/16/32/64/128/1000). They work well and the glass quality is great for the price. If ur bag is feeling cramped cuz of your accessories, definitely look into the Skyreat RC 2 Tablet Mount. It’s super solid but folds down nicely so it doesn't take up too much room.

But tbh, the BEST thing I bought for peace of mind is DJI Care Refresh 2-Year Plan (DJI Mini 4 Pro). If you're flying over water or near cliffs, it's basically a must-have for the replacement coverage. No complaints so far with my setup... it's served me well. Just found this thread and wanted to chime in... good luck with the trip!! 👍
