The new DJI RS 4 Mini is the best choice.

@Reply #7 - good point! Honestly tho, while everyone is leaning toward the DJI ecosystem, I think those might be overkill for a camera this small. I've been really satisfied with the Zhiyun Crane M3S for my setup. It works well because the Z50 is so light that you really dont need the massive motors or bulk of an RS 4.

  • Portability: It's way smaller than the RSC 2 or RS 3, so it actually fits in my regular backpack.
  • Performance: The torque is perfectly tuned for mirrorless bodies under 1kg, so no vibrations or motor hum.
  • Battery: I get about 7-8 hours which is plenty for a day out. Tbh the Z50 is such a compact beast, it feels weird putting it on a huge professional gimbal. The M3S feels more balanced for casual shooting or travel. If you want something that isnt a chore to carry around, this is basically the sweet spot for crop sensor users. No complaints at all on my end, super happy with the results so far.

My old DJI RSC 2 is also great.

I have Zhiyun Weebill S, works well on my Z30. It is really lightweight.
