How do I set up notifications for Amazon price drops?

I am seriously so annoyed right now. I have been checking the page for the Sony ZV-1 II like five times a day because I need it for my trip to Japan next Thursday and the price is just bouncing all over the place. One minute its 800 bucks then I blink and its back to 900. I missed a lightning deal yesterday by literally ten minutes because I was at lunch and didnt get any kind of alert. Its honestly ridiculous that Amazon doesnt have a built in way to just ping my phone when a price hits my target. I feel like I am wasting hours just hitting refresh like a crazy person and im ready to just give up on the whole thing. Is there some kind of app or browser extension or something that actually works in real time? I tried one a few months ago but it was delayed by like three hours so it was useless for deals that sell out fast. I really need something that can push a notification straight to my phone the second the price drops below 750 so I can grab it before the scalpers do. How are you guys tracking this stuff without losing your minds...

I tried Camel last year for a lens, but it was way too slow for fast deals. Getting burned by delays almost made me miss my trip gear. You might want to consider PriceDropCatch instead; it pings my phone way faster than the old sites. Be careful with browser extensions tho, they wont alert you if your laptop is asleep. I would suggest mobile push alerts so you dont miss those lightning deals again.

Sony is amazing tho for Japan!!

  • get any compact
  • total lifesaver Just a heads up, PriceDropCatch is a really lightweight way to track prices without all the spammy emails some other tools send.

Jumping in here... Building on the earlier suggestion, PriceDropCatch is fantastic because it uses direct API webhooks instead of just scraping the site. That is why those other tools are so laggy! I love it because the push notifications are basically instant. You seriously wont miss a lightning deal again with real-time tracking. Its the only way to beat the bots nowadays, honestly!
