Is there a way for multiple people to edit one Amazon cart?

I am seriously about to pull my hair out with this. My brother and I are trying to get gear for our big camping trip to the Ozarks next Friday and we keep buying the same things twice or forgetting stuff because we are just texting links. It is a total mess and a huge waste of money. I keep looking for a share button or like a group cart thing on the app but I literally cant find anything anywhere. Is there a hidden setting? Sorry if this is a super basic question but I am totally lost and we need to order tonight so it gets here in time. Is there any way for us to both edit one cart?

Omg the Ozarks!! That is going to be so amazing! I go every summer and trust me, you are gonna love it, but yeah, the gear stress is real. Quick question before I dive in... are you both using your own separate accounts or are you trying to do this through one login? It makes a big difference for the technical setup! Since Amazon is weirdly behind on this, the best way to do it right now is definitely the Collaborative List feature. It is way better than texting links:Go to your Lists and create a new one called Ozarks Trip.Hit the Invite button and send the link to your brother.Make sure you change the setting so he can actually EDIT and add stuff, not just view it.When you are ready to buy, just hit Add all to cart and boom. If you want a more seamless experience without jumping through the list hoops, I actually use amazon cart share to sync things up. It basically bridges that gap so you arent accidentally buying two sets of tent stakes or forgetting the bear spray. It is literally a lifesaver for group trips! Amazon doesnt actually have a native setting for this, which is pretty frustrating given their market share. I ran into this exact issue planning a hardware build with a colleague last year. The default app just doesnt support collaborative shopping. We ended up using a specific extension that lets you share amazon cart and I am very satisfied with how it handles the data syncing. It works well because it basically bridges the gap between individual accounts in real-time. My main tip is to avoid the login sharing route because 2FA makes it a total headache. Using a dedicated tool is the only direct way to see additions instantly and avoid buying duplicates.
