I primarily shoot landscapes and architecture, so I need something that can capture expansive scenes with minimal distortion. I'm considering both native Z-mount lenses and F-mount options with an adapter. Budget isn't a major concern, but I want the best value for my money. What are your experiences and recommendations for wide-angle lenses that pair well with the Z6 III? Any insights on image quality, autofocus performance, and overall versatility would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
Months later, I'm still amazed by the Nikkor Z 14-30 f4. It outperforms all my other ultrawides, except the 20mm 1.8 S I keep for astrophotography. The 14-30 is exceptional—compact, accepts threaded filters, and delivers incredible quality. If f4 meets your needs, I highly recommend this lens. You won't be disappointed with its versatility and performance.
If you are looking for a budget and compact wide-angle zoom lens, get the NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S lens.
