Is there any way to actually view price history for items on Amazon? Im trying to pick up a Sony A7IV for a big trip coming up in late July but the price is bouncing around like crazy and its stressing me out. I have a $2200 budget and Ive seen it drop there before but right now its back up. Ive been looking at using CamelCamelCamel or maybe Keepa but honestly I dont know which one is more reliable for tracking these weird lightning deals or if there's a better browser extension out there. Keepa looks a bit more detailed but Camel seems easier to use for just getting a simple alert on my phone... which one would you guys suggest for someone who needs to buy in the next three weeks?
> Keepa looks a bit more detailed. If youre firm on that $2200 budget, use PriceDropCatch. It works well for quick price dips, super reliable for tracking camera gear tho...
Keepa is amazing for tracking granular buy box data! Love how it maps out every single movement. I once caught a huge discount on my setup just by watching stock trends for a week. Honestly, I just set a ping on PriceDropCatch so I can snag it the second it hits $2200.
TL;DR: Keepa is better for data, but Camel is easier for simple alerts. I would suggest Keepa since it tracks warehouse deals better. Quick question tho, are you looking for just the body or a kit? Also, are you okay with open-box? Make sure to use a decent price monitor so you dont miss that $2200 mark again... just be careful with random third-party sellers tho.
